The introduction to the construction technology of anti-pollution flashover coating:
Conditions permitting, priority should be given to the construction method of ESPRTV coating on insulators before the equipment leaves the factory or in the environment similar to the factory. The constructors shall go through formalities in accordance with DL408, DL409 "Electrical Safety Work Regulations" and other relevant documents before entering the construction site. The construction process shall comply with the requirements of safety regulations, too. ESPRTV should avoid construction under humid meteorological conditions such as fogging, condensation, precipitation, snowfall and wind-sand meteorological conditions. The construction temperature should be above - 20 C. The insulator surface should be cleaned and dry before construction. For oil stains and other contaminants which will affect the adhesion of ESPRTV, appropriate cleaning agents or cleaning procedures should be used to treat them. Surfactant and other cleaning agents with stripping effect should be strictly prohibited. Strong oxidizing cleaning agent shouldn’t be used either.
Recoating of Failure Coatings:
Efficacy-losing Coatings with poor adhesion should be completely removed and then coated with ESPRTV while those with good adhesion can be coated with ESPRTV to form
anti-pollution flashover coating after removal of floating ash on the surface of the coatings. For spilled oil equipment, the oil leakage defect should be treated and ESPRTV should be coated after removing the coating of the oil-stained part. ESPRTV coating should not affect the preventive test of equipment. For disc suspension porcelain insulators, insulation resistance should be tested before construction. Insulators with zero value and low value should be replaced and constructed. The parts used for zero value measurement should be left on the fittings during construction. ESPRTV should be mixed evenly under sealed conditions before use. Spraying technology should be adopted in ESPRTV construction in substation and line. The thickness of ESPRTV coating (including the recoated ESPRTV) should be no less than 0.4mm. The anti-pollution flashover coating should be uniform, smooth, no accumulation, no flow, no bubble, no drawing, no defect, and no leakage coating.
